LO3 - Task 4: My Role

A) I undertook the role of a camera man in making a trailer for a made up film that my group had to create whilst doing a college course. I had to undertake different instructions to be able to do what I needed to do. For example use a variety of skills to get different angles and shots to make the final outcome look professional. evidence for my work can be found at "http://jakemcleanunit46.blogspot.co.uk"

B) Some additional tasks that I had to do in the production of this project was shot plans and story boarding, so I had to film different shots and angles but I also had to plan them and think about when they could be used during the filming. I had to use my own initiative to think of how each shot could be used and what it could mean. For example if a scene was filmed with a different shot each time it could give off different meanings so I had to decide which shot and angle goes where to have to project represent what we want it too. Shot plans and story boarding can be seen at "http://jakemcleanunit46.blogspot.co.uk"

C) I think that I contributed to the project well because from previous work on filming I believe that I brought my knowledge of filming to the group and made a difference when looking into and working on the shots and angles we used throughout the project. The different shots and angles can be seen at "http://jakemcleanunit46.blogspot.co.uk"

Underneath are some examples of the story boarding and shot plans that me and another team member worked on in pre production to plan out how we want the film to look and seem. There is also a print screen of editing showing that i contributed towards the editing side of the production. I feel as if my kownledge of camera shots and angles helped a lot when we were making these plans.
